We do not remember the days, We remember the moments

Some people write because they have something to say. But, it has never been a custom of mine to organize my thoughts and put them on paper. Instead, I take photographs because I want to say something.  I am not great but I strive for good.  Because, a good photograph should tell a story, and is, a true expression of what one feels about life in its entirety.

For almost thirty years I have documented my children's life story through photos and now, my grandchildren.  I am sure they think my camera is just an extension of me.  I do it because, memories slip away but pictures are a freeze frame in time.  I hope one day my photographs will become keepsakes.  So, when my children, grandchildren and their children are gathered together the expression "remember when" resounds through a room of love and laughter.

Someone very wise said,  "Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take but by the moments that take our breath away".  I want to capture all those everyday moments.
